Please read the following instructions to apply:  

• Recipient family must live in the Columbia River Fire and Rescue District. This includes: St. Helens, Warren, Columbia City, Deer Island, Yankton, Goble and Rainier.  

• All applications must be submitted online (if you need assistance with a printable application call the number below) and signed by an adult family member, parent and/or guardian of the recipient family.  Failure to properly fill out the application may result in your application being declined.

• Income limitations apply. The Oregon income guidelines must be followed in order to qualify for Toy N Joy.

• Applications may not be filled out and submitted on behalf of another family. If you know of a family that you think would like to apply, please contact the family and provide them with the online application and any assistance they may need in completing and submitting the application.    
 
• You can only apply for children in which you have legal custody. In the case of children living at more than one household, the parent that fills out and returns the application FIRST will be receiving the gifts/food.    

• Children’s gifts and/or special requests for clothing are for children under the age of 17; unless they are attending high school.  
 
• Grandparents may not apply for grandchildren unless they have legal custody.  

• Application deadline: Friday November 14, 2025 at 5pm. Applications received after that date/time will not be considered.  
 
• Families will be notified by email and or mail to receive their holiday meal/toys. Make sure we have a correct PHONE, EMAIL and MAILING address listed on the application. Email and or letters will be sent/mailed on or before Monday, December 2, 2024 – if you don’t receive an email/letter please call the numbers below.

• Please Note: YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH DETAILS ONCE YOU APPLY!  Please be prepared to show a form of identification at Toy N Joy pickup.
